Nomuzi Mabena Officially Launches Record Label And Confirms First Single
South African TV Host and rapper Nomuzi Mabena also known as
Moozlie has officially launched her own record label “Momuzi Mabena Music”
according to the statement released to the public yesterday (August 8).
“Everyone has known me as a young hustler always trying to
take my life to the next level,” Nomuzi Mabena said in the press release. “Everything
you see now is an accumulation of all that hard work. The world gets to see and
experience my growth and evolution and it’s exciting.”
The former Cash Time rapper started her own label because
she wanted to be in charge of her own sound by taking full control of the
publishing and creative process according to the statement.
The Skhanda Queen joined CashTime Records in 2014 and was
released from the label in March 2016 due to some differences in the vision.
V Entertainment TV show host came to the limelight after
winning the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search and later decided to join the rap game.
Nomuzi Mabena has worked with the likes of Kid X, Rouge, DJ Vigilante,
DJ Speedsta, AKA and has confirmed to release the first single off the label on
Wednesday (August 10).
