“I Listen To Sarkodie More Than M.anifest” - Medikal

The debate about who is a better MC in Ghana between Sarkodie and M.anifest seems like a song that will never end.

Another artist to weigh in on the debate is 21 year old rapper Medikal who is considered as one of the youngest creative lyricists in Ghanaian Hip Hop.

During an interview with Pulse Ghana, the rapper seemed coy when asked who is a better MC between Sarkodie and M.anifest and instead said that he listens to Sarkodie more than M.anifest.

“Amongst the two (M.anifest and Sarkodie), they are both dope,” he said “I won’t say M.anifest or Sarkodie is the best but I am the type that listens to Sarkodie more than M.anifest”

The argument between Sarkodie and M.anifest over who is the best lyricist has seen both rappers trading bars and throwing shots at each other in their songs.

The most recent being when Sarkodie released “Bossy” where he threw shots at most rappers even name dropping M.anifest. The “W’ani Aba” rapper then released “godMC” which is assumed as a direct reply to “Bossy”. Sarkodie also replied to “godMC” with Kanta a cover to Desiigner’s Panda where calls out M.anifest on his fashion style of wearing African prints.
