Rapper ProVerb Joins Johannesburg based Kaya FM

Rapper. TV and radio presenter Proverb has been announced as a new presenter on Kaya FM during a press conference today (August 31). 

“Proudly announced as new host of @kayafm95dot9 Top40, along with incredible personalities joining the #KayaLineUp,” the rapper tweeted.

The rapper will be joining the Gauteng based station as the new host of Top 40 every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, starting September 10. Proverb will be replacing the previous host Mo-G.

The other presenters that were announced today as part of the new line up include former Jacaranda FM presenter Bridget Masinga and Thomas Msengana from 5FM.

Proverb who is the current presenter of Idols South Africa since 2010 has previously worked at Metro FM both as a content producer and radio show host and at YFM as a technical producer.

The rapper has also released five successful albums; ‎ “The Book of ProVerb,” “Manuscript,” “Write of Passage,” “Fourthwrite” and “The Read Tape”
