Rapper CDQ Announces Album “Quality” Release Date and Artwork
Nigerian rapper
CDQ born Sodiq Abubakar Yusufu has announced the release date and artwork for
his debut album “Quality”.
The General
Records rapper held a press conference yesterday (August 15) at New Castle
Hotel announcing August 22 as the release date.
The “Oobi”
rapper later took to Instagram posting the cover art and captioned it thanking
his fans for the support.
"A dude from the ghetto, slum, floor, project resting on the shoulder of
success all because you gave me chance and believe in me...I can't thank you
all enough my fans and well wishers God bless you #Woss #QUALITY
#ALBUMCOVER #GRL”#7DaysTo Go," captioned the Instagram post.
The rapper signed for Masterkraft’s General
Records in 2013 after winning a rap battle in December 2012 and immediately released
his first official single “Suala”.
CDQ who credits producer Masterkraft as his
mentor has worked with the likes of Wizkid M.I, Olamide, Reminisce and many
others.
