Nadia Nakai Talks Not Taking Part In “Now or Never Remix” & Moozlie Beef Rumours
Family Tree
first lady Nadia Nakai has come out to reveal why she was not part of DJ Switch’s
“Now or Never” all female remix hosted by DJ MsCosmo in an interview with
Slikouronlife.
"I was
working on my own project and I didn't want to focus on anyone else's project
that wasn't mine...I just feel like at the moment that it's not the right time
for me to work with anyone who is on the remix," she told Slikour.
Last year Nadia
Nakai went on rant after she was not included on the all-female remix of AKA’s “Baddest”.
The female rapper recorded her own version on the track dissing AKA and other
rappers featured on the song.
Nadia Nakai
further squashed rumors of the beef with “Recipe” rapper Moozlie who she
said has been accused of not writing her own rhymes just like she has been and
so felt no need to talk bad about her.
"I have
never ever said to anyone that I felt Nomuzi doesn't write her own rhymes. I
never said that. She got backlash for that and so have I. People say that I
don't write my own rhymes. So, I would never say that about her," Nadia
said.
The “Money Back”
rapper also talked about how she is marketing herself using her style and music
as a brand.
