“I Won’t Do A Song With Sarkodie Today or Tomorrow For Him To Flop Me” – Reggie Rockstone.

Over time Sarkodie has proved his place as one of the respected lyricists in Africa. 

And to prove this fellow Ghanaian rapper and hiplife pioneer Reggie Rockstone revealed to Hitz FM’s Mercury Quaye that he has not worked with the “Adonia” rapper because he is a beast.

“Sarkodie is such an amazing talent, he’s a beast. I won’t do a song with him today or tomorrow for him to flop me and even take my crown, I won’t,” Reggie Rockstone said.

The KORA Award winner further recalled turning down Sarkodie’s offer to do a song together because he knew fans would start comparisons between the two and end up being trolled by Sarkodie’s fans.

“Even if I will agree to jump on a song with him, I have to gym my lyrics. The last time he asked that we do a song together, I told him, then I have to do the chorus because his fans will start comparisons and then the trolling will follow. I’m not ready to do any song with him,” Reggie Rockstone further explained.

Sarkodie has collaborated with the likes of Ice Prince, E.L, Jayso, Sway & Ace Hood.
