Eva Alordiah Headlines Maiden She Rocks! Event And Talks Growing Up.

Nigerian Female rapper Eva Alordiah was the headlining act of the first She Rocks! Event in Nigeria yesterday (August 17) reports Pulse Nigeria. 

The event where the Honoree shall inspire and empower fellow women will be held every 3^rd Wednesday of the month.

The 27 year old rapper performed some of her songs like “Zombie” and “War Coming”. Eva later talked about how growing up she wanted to be a boy, rejected everything feminine and checking out women which changed as she came of age.

“I wanted to be a boy, and so I became a tomboy”, She said. “I wore bandannas, baggy jeans, do-rags, and checked out women”.

Other honorees of the night included spoken word artists Wana Udobang and Dolapo Oni, who also performed. Other live performances came from singers Imanse, Maya and Brenda (a former The Voice Nigeria contestant). DJs Nana and Switch handled the music mixing for the night.

 

Eva who says was sexually molested by a family relative recently released her first book “11” a collection of short semi-erotic stories. And we are still waiting for her debut album “1960” which has had many different release dates that was first announced in 2014.
