Die Antwoord Accuse Suicide Squad Of Ripping Them Off

Die Antwoord member Yolandi Visser took to Instagram on Wednesday (August 10) to accuse Suicide Squad director David Ayer of “jockin their style” in an Instagram video.

In the video Yolandi highlights some of what she calls tiny details that were nibbled from the group’s style similar to the characters the Joker played by Jared Leto and Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie pulled off.

The Die Antwoord member further says in the caption to the video that Cara Delevingne who also stars in the move as a villain and Leto told them how Ayer was constantly referencing them while on set for the filming of Suicide Squad.

“Cara & Jared told us how much u were talkin abt us on set but u never asked our permision to rip us off,” Yolandi Visser wrote in the caption. “An when ninja texted u sayin wassup wif dat u said nothin like a scared lil bitch. U were jus flauntin our names pretendin to b down. u aint down an u never will b.” 

The South African rap group who are heading for their European Tour also goes on to throw some shots at Kanye West.

"But we all tink u wack. U shud start a crew called:,"im a fake fuck" ask kanye if he wants to join u," YoLandi writes in the Instagram post.
