Cassper Nyovest Gains Multi-Platinum Status With His Two Albums

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has confirmed that his two albums “Tsholofelo” and “Refiloe” have attained the multi-Platinum and double Platinum status respectively in a recent Twitter QnA session.

The rapper said that he didn’t want to share the news on social before getting his certificates when asked by a fan on twitter if his sophomore album “Refiloe” had gone double platinum.

“I didn't want to announce on social media before I get my certificates but YES. Tsholofelo is also Multi Platinum,” Cassper tweeted.

“Refiloe” was released at the Fill the Dome Concert in October 31, 2015 attaining a gold status that same night because each ticket purchase was accompanied with a copy of the album. It was made available digitally on iTunes on November 6, 2016 topping South African iTunes Charts with 30 minutes. And was later certified platinum on January 13, 2016.

Cassper Nyovest’s debut album “Tsholofelo” which is named after his sister was released digitally on iTunes July 18, 2014 and contained the hit single “Doc Shebeleza”. It attained its platinum status in April 2015.
