AKA to headline at the 2016 National Arts Festival


Rapper AKA who is currently in the US will be among the headliners of this this year’s National Arts Festival reports Times Live.

The rapper will be performing for only night at Guy Butler Theatre, on July 8 at 10 pm.

The Festival was started in 1974 when the 1820 Settlers National Monument was officially opened and ever since then the festival has been held annually except for 1975.

The 11 day festival is held in Grahamstown and is used to celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of South Africa in different fields of drama, dance, physical theatre, comedy, opera, music, jazz, visual art, film, children’s arts and many others.
